Instagram new features will be incomplete without the latest update on Instagram interactions. The update brings the focus on the accounts you have interacted with the most and the least. When you go to the profile, it will give you two lists for the recent interactions, namely- Least Interacted With and Most Shown in Feed.
Steps to check Instagram interactions:
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app.
Step 2: Go to the profile page.
Step 3: Tap on the Following.
Step 4: Right above the complete list of accounts you follow, you will see the lists under the section called Categories:
- Least Interacted With
- Most Shown in Feed.
Step 5: Click on Least Interacted With to see with whom you have interacted in the last 90 days. The interaction is calculated on the basis of you liking their posts or posting a reaction to their stories on Instagram.
Step 6: Click on Most Shown in Feed to see which Instagram accounts have you mostly seen the posts on your feed.
This Instagram new feature is very helpful in understanding the algorithm as it is generated with your activities. This will help you get the most relevant content on your feed on Instagram.

Instagram Restricted Accounts:
This is totally different from the blocked accounts on Instagram. As it will let you restrict certain accounts on your account to limit the interactions with them. Instagram restricted accounts are different from blocked accounts. This will allow the user to see your posts, comment, dm but with a limit. If you add people in the Restricted account on Instagram it will limit them for the following:.
- Won’t show when you are online to the restricted accounts. This will save you from unnecessary interactions with the Restricted accounts on Instagram.
- The comments will only be visible to them and you. You will be able to see the comment only after you click on See Comment. They will only appear to others when you click on Approve.
- They won’t be able to see if you have read their messages. This maintains an invisible status for you to the restricted account on Instagram. As the accounts which are restricted can not be found out if you are online or not with the read status.
The Instagram restricted account can be applied with the following steps:
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app.
Step 2: Go to your profile.
Step 3: Tap on the three-bar icon on the top-right Or Slide left from the right side of your screen to open the Settings.
Step 4: Open Privacy.
Step 5: Tap on Restricted Accounts under the Connections section.
Step 6: Tap on the Search bar to add the accounts.
Or
Step 1: Go to the DMs.
Step 2: Tap on the chat of the account you want to restrict.
Step 3: Go to Top-Right side, and tap on Info icon.
Step 4: Tap on Restrict.
Note: To remove restriction from anaccount, reverse the steps. Easily un-restrict the account go to the DM or from the list of Restricted accounts on Instagram settings.
