Microsoft provides Filter Keys in Windows OS that help control the Keyboard repeat rate as well as ignore any keys that are repeated. When the filter keys are enabled, the repeated keys are slowly recognized, giving the impression of input lag. The below-mentioned steps will help to turn it off:

Hence it is important to keep your drivers updated at all times.
