2. Run the DISM Command

Launch the Start menu search box, type “Command Prompt”, right-click on it, and select the “Run as Administrator” option.

3. Enable the Security Center Service

The next workaround to fix the “Windows Security Says No Security Providers” error, we will try to manually enable the Security Center service in the Windows Services Manager. Follow these quick steps:

Launch the Start menu search box, type “Services” and hit Enter.

Scroll down through the list and look for the “Security Center Service”. Double-tap on it to open Properties.

Hit the OK and Apply buttons to save the customized settings.

5. Run the SFC Command

SFC (System File Checker) command is an in-built Windows utility that replaces corrupt system files with a cached copy. To perform an SFC scan on Windows 10, here’s what you need to do.

Launch the Command Prompt app in Admin mode.

Type the following command and hit Enter.

Wait for a few minutes until Windows runs a thorough scan on your device to scan and fix corrupt system files and settings. Once the scan is completed, exit all windows, reboot your device, and try running the Windows Defender security scan to check if you are still seeing the “No Service Providers” error.
