How To Write On A PDF Document?

How To Write on A PDF File Using A PDF Editor On a PC

Let’s begin by enlisting steps on how you can write on a PDF using a PDF editor. For the purpose of demonstration, we are going to use Systweak PDF Editor, which is one of the best PDF editors for Windows –

Step 1 – Download, install, and run Systweak PDF Editor.

Step 2 –  Click on Edit PDF and select the PDF file that you want to write on.

Step 3 – From the top, click on the Add Text button in Edit PDF tab as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 4 – Drag on the area where you want to add text. Then, from the right-hand side, choose the font, font size, fill color, border color, font color, opacity, and border width (if applicable).

Step 5 – You can now begin writing.

In order to delete what you have written, all you have to do is simply click on it once and then hit the delete button.

If you look at the options under the Edit PDF menu, you’ll find that there are a lot many things you can do apart from adding text that we demonstrated just above. You can –

  • Edit Content – Make changes to the existing content.
  • Text Callouts – Add annotations or labels to draw attention to specific points or sections.
  • Add Image – You can add images from a location on your hard drive at a specific point on the PDF.
  • Add Notes – Add notes to specific sections of your PDF document.
  • Sign PDF – You can put down your signature at a desired area on the PDF file. You can either use a pen tab, or mouse to put down your signature or upload your signature.
