How do I turn off this feature? I dont want Google Chrome to scan my entire hard drives. Also, it does without asking or consent. And there does not seem to be a possibility to uncheck in the settings. I hate such behaviour. .

Normally, this does not happen without consent, check the Settings and also check your Google Chrome extensions and remove anything unknown or suspicious. Thank you
