Microsoft has announced Microsoft 365 Copilot, a tool that will work with its collection of applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and more. This was announced just one month after revealing the integration of artificial intelligence with its search engine Bing and browser Edge. Microsoft claimed that the new AI tool would boost productivity and creativity.

How Can Copilot Help Microsoft Office Users?
Users don’t have to switch to another tool in order to utilize the features. Having the option to summarize a white paper into a blog post from within your main productivity software minimizes friction when incorporating these tools into workflows.
For Word 365 Users
You can edit and revise a first draft that Copilot provides, saving hours of writing, sourcing, and editing work. Copilot will occasionally be accurate and occasionally usefully off, but it will always move you forward.
For Powerpoint & Excel 365 Users
The Microsoft 365 Copilot can prompt the creation of Excel data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations.
For Outlook 365 Users
It will summarize lengthy email threads in Outlook and draft email responses.
