How To Block Obscene Content Via OpenDNS On iPhone?

You can simply configure your iPhone’s DNS settings to block access to certain sites. Keep in mind, this method would only work when your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi network and not the mobile data.

To block obscene content by configuring OpenDNS, follow the method below:

Step 1- Launch iPhone settings > Go to Wi-Fi > tap on ‘i’ button (the icon would be present next to the Wi-Fi name you’re connected to).

Step 2- Select Configure DNS option, by default it would have been set to Automatic > click on Manual option to further modify the IP address.

Step 3- Replace the DNS server ID to 208.67.222.123 and second, 208.67.220.123 with the default 192.168.1.1 IP address from the list.

 Step 4- OpenDNS site > create account (if needed) > start blocking websites on a DNS level.
