Android 14 Public Beta: Download and Be the First to Try It Out

Google has unveiled the first public beta of Android 14 for users to try out.

Following two earlier developer previews, Google has now released the first of Android 14’s four public beta releases. In a blog post on Wednesday, the company announced that users can now download and install the beta on compatible devices. This first beta is also the first release that users can install OTA (Over-The-Air) on supported Pixel devices.

Android 14 brings a host of new features and enhancements, including updates to the system user interface such as a new back arrow and improved share menu. Additionally, the latest version of Android prioritizes security and privacy, delivering a safer and more secure mobile experience to users.

When Will We Get Stable Android 14?

Google has revealed its plans for the beta phase of Android 14, with the company stating that it will last for two months. During this period, the OS will be stabilized in preparation for the final release. According to the timeframe shared by Google, the stabilization process is set to take place throughout June and July. After this, the final stable build of Android 14 will be released to supported devices in August 2023.

Google has made the Android 14 beta 1 update available for a range of its devices, including the Pixel 4A (5G) and newer models. Users can sign up their devices for the Pixel program to request access to the beta build.
