Scheduled Emails Coming To Gmail

Looks like revamping Gmail is still not over. Google is working on bringing revolutionary features to Gmail. The most awaited feature Scheduled Emails might be on its way. As per Gmail APK version 2019.03.03.238017425, it is indicated that scheduled emails could be added with the version.

How Does It Work?

As per the reports, you can select to schedule an email to be sent in at least 2 minutes in future. The limitation put to it is the time selected must be “less than 50 years.” This leaves us confused, whether this means that an email could be scheduled 49 years in future, or this means entirely different.

Also, users would be provided with an option to schedule a message. To do that, you need to locate the scheduled messages in your draft. However, it is indicated that scheduled emails could not be cancelled provided the sender is not online.

It is not clear to what extent in future, you can schedule an email. But getting this feature could really eliminate risks of forgetting replying to an important email.

What Are The Other Features Added?

It is not the only feature which is added to new Gmail APK. The new improved app will come with more security functionality. Precisely, Google will enable security administrators handling a user’s work account to stop syncing in case your smartphone doesn’t have a device lock activated.

Isn’t it cool? Google is taking a special interest in enforcing device security along with introducing new features to Gmail from time to time to keep it updated.
