Solution 1: Update the Graphics Driver

Unable to see the NVIDIA graphic card listed in the Device Manager app? Well, here’s something you can try. 

Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run dialog box. Type “Devmgmt.msc” in the textbox and hit Enter.

In the Device Manager window, tap on View> Show Hidden Devices.

Select “Display Adapter” and check if Windows revealed the NVIDIA graphic card. Once you find it, right-click on the NVIDIA graphic card and update the graphic drivers.

Solution 2: Configure the GPU via Command Prompt

Tap on the search icon placed on the Taskbar and type “Command Prompt.” Select the “Run as administrator” option to launch CMD in admin mode. 

Once the Terminal window appears on the screen, type the following command on CMD and hit Enter to execute it:

bcdedit /set pciexpress forcedisable

The BCEdit command is used for resolving display failures, failed boots, failed shutdowns, and so on. After executing this command, reboot your device and check if the issue was resolved. 

Solution 3: Uninstall Last Updates

Recently upgraded your Windows 11 PC? Well, there may be a chance that the last update you installed is causing the “NVIDIA graphic card not detected” issue on your device. To ensure that’s not the case, we can try uninstalling the last Windows update and see if it helps fix the issue. 

Tap on the Windows icon and select “Settings.” Switch to the “Windows Update” section from the left menu pane.
