Step 1- To deactivate your Snapchat account permanently, go to support.snapchat.com/delete-account via any web browser on your phone.

Step 2- Enter your Snapchat credentials to log in. Check the Robot Captcha box to complete the login process.

Step 3- As soon as you get logged in, you will be redirected to Delete Account – Snapchat page. Enter your Snapchat login credentials again. 

Step 4- Tap ‘Continue’ to delete Snapchat account.

Step 5- That’s it. You’re done, say goodbye to Snapchat!

Your data will be kept by Snapchat for 30 days, in case you wish to reactivate your account again. If that’s the case, just log in with your Snapchat ID & Password, to complete the reactivation process.

To delete your Snapchat account via mobile app, follow the instructions below:

Step 1- Launch Snapchat on your phone. If you’re not already logged in, enter your Snapchat ID & Password to open the app

Step 2- Head towards the main menu by clicking the icon at top-left corner. Open Settings (gear-icon) present at top-right.

Step 3- Go to Support > Help Centre > Locate My Account & Security option in menu icon (displayed as three parallel horizontal lines icon at top-right).

Step 4- Click ‘Account security’ option.

 Step 5- Hit ‘Delete My Account’ option. Several related links will be displayed below. Click on ‘How do I delete my account?’.

Step 6- At the next screen, in How To Delete Snapchat Account section > click on ‘accounts portal’.

You’ll be taken to Snapchat’s Help Centre page (Snapchat Support), where you have to enter your Snapchat User ID & Password again > proceed by tapping Continue. Once your credentials are verified, you’ll be notified on the next page about your account deactivation.
