1. Windows 11 Won’t Run Because of TPM

Despite having a computer with apt specs for Windows 11, many users are unable to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 because they don’t have TPM enabled. Over the period, workarounds are occurring where even if you don’t have TPM enabled, you will still be able to run Windows 11. Such workarounds might involve delving into registries. And, a wrong step there might render your computer inoperable. On the safer side, if you want Windows 11, then you should either invest in a CPU that supports TPM or if not enabled, you should manually do it.

From Microsoft’s standpoint, here’s why it is asking users to enable TPM. To check if your PC supports TPM, here are the steps –

  1. Press Windows + R and open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type msc and press Enter.

3. Open TPM Manufacturer Information and under Specific Version, check your TPM version.

4. If you have TPM 2.0, you shouldn’t have any issue else you will have to enable it or get a CPU that has a TPM                2.0 support.

Shortage in space is one of the most common issues that Windows 11 users are dealing with. This is quite common, especially with those who have recently upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10.
