WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that allows users to pin individual and group chats. This feature enables users to prioritize and easily access various types of conversations, such as text, images, polls, and emojis. It’s worth noting that users can only pin a single conversation at a time.

This feature is meant to improve user productivity by making it easier to quickly retrieve important chats. This feature can be accessed on PC, iOS, and Android platforms.

WhatsApp’s Message Pinning Inside Chats – Everything You Need to Stay in the Loop

Yesterday, Meta unveiled a new feature for WhatsApp called “pin message”. The chat application under Meta’s ownership explained that users can pin a chat by performing a long press on a chat and choosing “Pin” from the drop-down menu. Additionally, users have the option to select a pin duration of 7 days (default), a day, or 30 days. Within group chats, admins have the authority to determine the individuals who can pin messages, opting for either everyone or solely the admins themselves.

It’s important to mention that if a message isn’t manually unpinned, it will automatically unpin after the designated time limit is up. In this case, unpinning entails moving the message back to where it was originally placed within the conversation.
