Truecaller, the popular caller identification app, has launched an advanced SMS Fraud Protection feature that utilizes the power of Artificial Intelligence to combat SMS scams. How Does It Work?
The company has confirmed that every time a user receives a fraudulent message, a prominently displayed red notification will appear on the screen, clearly warning the user not to take any action.
This alert comes with a clear warning to the user to avoid any actions that could potentially put them at risk. What’s more, the notification remains visible on the user’s screen until it is manually dismissed, ensuring that the user is well-informed and protected from scammers.
If a user inadvertently opens a fraudulent SMS, the company’s AI tool will automatically disable all associated links. This safeguard ensures that users remain safe from any malicious content that may be contained within the message.

Truecaller has announced that its SMS Fraud Protection service is now available to all Android users.

Block Spam Call In Truecaller
Step 1: First, download Truecaller from Google Play Store if you haven’t and give it all the necessary permissions.
Step 2: Whenever you receive dubious calls like credit card, loan, or KYC completion calls, open the Truecaller app and tap on that particular number.
