A recently revealed feature was accidentally disclosed in a screenshot shared by a Meta staff member. Meta has yet to officially confirm the inclusion of a Trending Topics section in Threads. This inadvertent post caught the attention of Willian Max, an app developer. He later uploaded the screenshot while respecting the employee’s privacy by cutting out his name.

The interface appears to maintain a clean and straightforward design, featuring a list that ranks the most discussed subjects, along with the post count for each topic. You’ll find the Trending Topics feature conveniently located within the expanded Search tab, allowing users to discover public posts from fellow users using specific keywords.
This screenshot is obtained from an internal build of the Threads app. It’s uncertain whether this will be the only interface when the feature becomes accessible to all users.
