Method 1: Search It Via Search Bar 

You can simply launch Performance Monitor on Windows 10 by searching it through the search bar. To do that, locate search bar beside Start Menu. Start Typing Performance and Performance Monitor tool will come up as a search result. Click on it to launch Performance Monitor.

Method 2: Launch Performance Monitor Via Run Window

You can access Performance Monitor via Run window as well. To do that press Windows and R to open Run Window. Once it is up, type perfmon and click OK 

Note: You can also type “perfmon.msc” or “perfmon.exe” to bring up Performance Monitor.

Method 3: Use Command Prompt to Access Performance Monitor

To open Performance Monitor via Command prompt, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to Search bar and type cmd to open Command Prompt. 

Alternative Way: Make a right click at the lower left corner to open Quick Access Menu, choose Command Prompt to launch it. 

Step 2: On the command prompt window, type perfmon.exe and press Enter. It will launch Performance Monitor tool.

Method 4: Use Windows PowerShell To Open Performance Monitor

Step 1: Click the bottom left corner near Start button. You will get a Quick Access Menu, locate Windows Powershell. 

Alternative Way: You can also type Powershell in the search bar to get Windows Powershell.

Step 2: Type perfmon.msc and hit Enter to launch Performance Monitor. 

Method 5: Use Administrative Tools to Get Performance Monitor

You can use Administrative tools as well to launch the tool. To do the same, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to search bar, beside Start button, type administrative, Administrative Tools will come up as search results. Click on it to launch the tool. 

Step 2: You will get a list of tools such as Component Services, Computer Management and more. Locate and double-click on Performance Monitor from the list to launch it.
