It’s Time To Revisit Your Most Played Tracks Of The Year

Nothing can be as soothing as listening to the tracks you like, over and over again. But the daily-new-released-songs make it harder to keep track of the last played songs as we keep listening to the new ones and forget the last ones we enjoyed. For a long time, I wanted to create a playlist I have listened to most in a certain time of period, but I failed miserably. Finally, I found a solution I was looking for.

Apple Music Library

Apple Music Library is like the answer to every music lover’s prayers. Here, the user can go through every single song he/she liked and played the most using Replay feature.

And, there are two most amazing things with this feature which I found the most appealing as well. First, I can filter the time period and can get the list of songs I played most in that time. The second one is that it keeps updating the list on a weekly basis (to be precise – on every Sunday). So, I won’t have to create another list/album separately for future purpose. Yayyyyyy!!!

Wrapped 2018 & Apple Music Replay

Well, I have used Spotify’s Wrapped 2018, which was bang on that time as it gave me at least something to go with. However, there were a few limitation walls which had been strongly broken here with Apple Music Replay. One of the first was as the name suggests, Wrapped in 2018,  it will only show me the tracks I have played in 2018, and that too from January 2018 to October 2018. Another and the major one was that this wrapped list cannot be updated with the new songs, I’ll be listening to in the near future.

It’s not that I don’t like Wrapped 2018, but now with Apple Music Replay, I can keep the songs according to the time period I want, and the list will be updated automatically. So, I think it’s a win-win situation for me.

How Does It Work?

To experience Apple Music Replay, visit and tap on “Get Your Replay Mix.” If you are already logged in, good-to-go or else just go through the login process.

Once you are logged in, it will give you a playlist of the most played songs in 2019. It will also generate an additional playlist for every year you’ve subscribed to Apple Music. This way, you can dive back to revisit your preferred tracks from other years as well. Just an FYI – you can also export your Apple Music Replay playlist just like any other playlist in your music library. Subscribers can access this feature on the web and add playlists to Mac or iOS devices.

The feature also filters out a list for me on the basis of singers I have listened to the most, which I believe is also a plus point. So at the end of the day, I have a lot of songs to listen, and the best part is, these all are the ones I love the most.

Since, the initiative is still in the early stages, and not available on every platform yet, soon, it will be available on iOS, iPadOS, and Mac. You can always visit and start living back your past memories.

What do you think about this initiative from Apple? Do you also agree with me on this or happy with Wrapped 2018. If you try this feature out, drop your Apple Music Replay screenshots in the comments below!
