2. Find Saved Passwords on Chrome Using Developer Options

If you are a tech geek then you must be aware that Google Chrome comes with Developer Option. Using this developer option, you can make a slight edit in the script of the webpage.

1. Open the website for which you have saved the password in Google Chrome, and locate the password field. Once located, right-click on the password field and from the drop-down list select “Inspect”. You can also use the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+I.
2. This will open the Inspect element developer tool, with some complex strings and codes. Now, look for a line stating as <input type=”password”. Once located, double-click on type=”password” to edit and then change “password” with “text.” It will now look like the following: <input type=”text.”
3. Now close the Inspect element window. That’s all, now the password field will show the original password instead of that black dots.

The password will remain visible until you reload the webpage or relaunch the browser.
