How to Use Instagram’s New “Questions” Feature

Recently Instagram has added a new feature to polling, a question sticker. With this sticker, you can let others ask you questions. Let’s say, you are a celeb and want to interact with your fans or followers, you can use Ask a question feature to do so. It allows your followers to ask you questions. This is the most innovative way of interviewing by your fans.

With this polling feature, you can add question sticker to your story and your followers can ask questions, which you can answer in following story post.

Instagram said, “it’s a way to start conversations during moments when you don’t necessarily have a photo or video to share.”  This feature is one of the ways of Instagram to keep the users engaged when they don’t have anything to share in Story.  Let’s see how to use it in the following steps:

1. First, Tap on + add button placed near your profile pic at the top of the screen, wherein you can see other people’s story.
2. Now choose a background to start with either from the photo album of your phone or click a pic.
3. Click on sticker symbol and scroll to get Question sticker. Tap on it to add.
4. You can tap on a sticker and change the question.
5. When your friends view your story. They can tap on the question sticker and they can reply on another story. Moreover, they can send multiple replies.
6. This is more or less “ask me anything” Tool.

In order words, interact with your fans and followers with this sticker in the sticker drawer.

Once a question is asked, you can answer by tapping the query, in order to create a story post. Question asked will now be shown in the new post. You will get the info who asked what but you will not get a username or profile photo.
