If you already own a Windows 10 Pro Product key, then upgrading to Professional version would be no trouble at all.

Step 3- Search for Windows 10 in the search box.

To upgrade to Windows 10 Pro without following the activation process, follow the steps below:
Step 1- There’s no magic key that would allow you to upgrade to Pro version. It’s just if you have a product key for the Pro versions of previous Windows editions, like for Windows 7 or 8.
You can use the same key to upgrade from Home edition to Windows 10 Pro.

Step 2- Just open Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change Product Key. Enter the following key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T (Public default key shared by Microsoft a few years back.)
Step 3- This will not activate the system, but you’ll be taken to Pro Edition where you can activate the Professional version using the previous versions ‘Pro key’.
