Although Microsoft offers Xbox game bar and Clipchamp screen recorder tools for free, many Windows users still prefer using Snipping Tool because of its simplicity. Snipping Tool allows you to record videos using only the in-app controls, unlike screenshot capture. To record the screen in Snipping Tool, adhere to these steps:

Step 1: Press Win + S to open Windows Search and type “Snipping Tool” into the search box.

Step 2: To start the app, select the Open button.

Step 8: When you are finished recording, click the Stop button to end the process and go back to the Snipping Tool window.
