Simultaneously, the company revealed a range of vulnerabilities within the Linux kernel and proprietary vendor components, both of which are not open source. The patches created to fix these flaws have been in development for a few weeks or perhaps months, but their details are only coming to light now.

Typically, the update encompasses a blend of security patches, bug rectifications, and diverse enhancements. Google has highlighted a number of them in the update. For instance, a problem that occasionally hindered the connection of Bluetooth keyboards has been successfully resolved for the Pixel Tablet and Fold.  Moreover, the glitch causing specific Live Wallpapers to exhibit incorrect orientations and the intermittent unresponsiveness of the lock screen have all been fixed for the Google Pixel Fold.

Lastly, the problem responsible for flickering when in Hub mode has been eradicated from the Pixel Tablet. Given that this is a Google update, anticipate gradual dissemination to all compatible devices. While some rollouts wrap up within a matter of days, the norm tends to lean toward weeks before full distribution is achieved.
