  6. Click on minus button to remove.

Once done, close the window. Your setting will be automatically set at the next startup.

Another reason for the slow start of Mac is the errors on hard disk. However, you do not need to worry as Mac has an inbuilt tool, known as Disk Utility that helps to check and fix all the disk errors. To fix the errors on hard disk of your Mac follow the steps below:

  1. Open Disk Utility on your Mac.
  2. Now from the left panel select the hard disk.
  3. Since we are not sure that the hard disk contains errors or not, therefore, first click on Verify Disk. Now the disk is checked for the errors and will show a report after completion. If report shows the errors on the hard disk then click on Repair Disk to fix them all.

It is always advisable that you occasionally run this tool and fix all the errors if any occur.

Do Not fill Your Hard drive to the Maximum:
