Step 1:  Enter your password and unlock your Windows 10 computer.

Step 2: Go to the Start button located at the left bottom corner of your Windows 10 screen.

Step 3: Type Command Prompt in the search bar and right-click on the Command Prompt to run it as administrator.

Step 4: Hit Yes.

Step 5: Now, you need to type “bcdedit” command in the Administrator Command Prompt.

Step 6: Hit Enter.

Step 7: Now, you can make the notes of identifier and reoveryenabled values from the “Windows Boot Loader” segment. Please make sure the values are alike than the following values.

recoveryenabled: no

identifier: {current}

Step 8: You need to type down “bcdedit /set {current} recoveryenabled yes” this command in the Administrator Command Prompt to activate the automatic repair.

Step 9: Hit Enter after inserting the command.

Step 10: In above-mentioned command, we’ve taken the value of {current} to stipulate the target Operating System option in the boot loader and the “yes” value to activate automatic repair.

Step 1: Firstly, you need to type Command Prompt in the search bar which is available next to Start button at the bottom left corner of your computer screen.

Step 2: When you see Command prompt in the search result then you need to right-click on the Command Prompt and choose Run as administration.

Step 3:  Now, you need to insert “bcdedit” command in your Administration Command Prompt.

Step 4: Once you’re done, then hit Enter.

identifier: {current}

Step 6: You need to type down the “bcdedit /set {current} recoveryenabled no” command in the Command Prompt to disable automatic repair on Windows 10.

Step 7: Press Enter.

Step 8: In above-mentioned command, we’ve taken the value of {current} to stipulate the target Operating System option in the boot loader and the “no” value to disable automatic repair.
