How To Add Or Remove Users From Google Home

When it comes to assistance, Google seem to conquer this stream too. If you know about Google Home, you would know that it is a Wi-Fi speaker that can work as a smarthome control centre. Google Home works as an assistant for the whole family with the help of communication. Add An Additional Account To Google Home:

  1. Launch the Google Home application on your smartphone.
  2. Tap the Device Icon located in the upper right-hand side corner.
  3. Tap on the Link your Account option (you may also see the “Multi-user account is available” instead
  4. Hit Continue.
  5. Make your Google Home familiar with your voice by saying Ok Google, and everything as it asks and click on Continue.

Adjust Your Preferences With Google Home App:

  1. Launch the Google Home
  2. Similar to previous steps, tap on the Device Icon located in the upper right-hand side corner.
  3. Once there, tap on the Menu button (the three vertical dots) for Google Home.
  4. Hit Settings from the list.
  5. Select More option under the Google Assistant settings.
  6. Select the feature you’re looking to adjust.
  7. Change your preference through the checkboxes. (tap on checkbox for desired ones)
  8. Hit the back arrow on left-hand side top corner to save your changes.

Unlink An Account With Google Home:

  1. Launch the Google Home
  2. Tap on the Devices icon In the top right-hand side corner of the Home screen to view the available Google Home devices.
  3. Scroll to search for the device card for the Google Home device you’re looking to unlink a Google Account.
  4. Ttap the device card menu Settings (three vertical dots) in the In the top right-hand side corner of the device card.
  5. Below the “Linked accounts”, you can see the Google Account that used to set up this specific Google Home device.
  6. Hit the Linked account(s)
  7. Select the account you wish to unlink from Google Home.
  8. Tap Remove to disengage this particular Google Home device from that of the Google Account.
