How to Find Your MAC Address On Windows 11

A MAC address is a unique identifier for your computer. It’s used to identify your computer on a local network connection.

Every computer/laptop has a MAC address or ‘Media Access Control’ address, and Windows 11 is no different. The MAC address is a unique set of twelve characters 48-Bit long, and it is used to identify your computer’s network.

If you have a problem connecting your network devices and checking your network hardware, you might need to find your MAC address. Your MAC address can help you determine which device is connecting to your network, can help you track the performance of your network, and can even help you determine if your network is vulnerable to hacks.

Knowing your MAC address is important. One of the reasons could be to check if your connection is vulnerable. Because when a hacker is on the same network as you, they can impersonate your connection using the MAC address and hijack your connection. Therefore, using a router with a VPN is the best bet to prevent such hacks as a reliable VPN can create a shield, thereby protecting the MAC address.
