Solution 1: Check your Internet Connection

Solution 2: Edit the Registry

Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run dialog box. Type “Regedit” in the textbox and hit Enter to launch the Registry Editor app. 

In the Registry Editor window, navigate to the following folder location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies

Now, right-click on the “Policies” folder and select New> Key. Name the new key “Google.” 

Right-click on the “Google” key and now create a new key and name it “Chrome.”

Once the “Chrome” folder is created, right-click on it and select New> D-WORD 32-bit value. 

Double-tap on the new D-WORD file and enter “1” in the Value Data field. Hit on the OK button when done. 

Reboot your device and launch the Chrome Remote Desktop software to check if the issue was resolved.

Solution 3: Delete the Client and Connect Again

Here comes another solution to fix the “Chrome Remote Desktop not working” issue on Windows 11. 

Launch the Chrome Remote Desktop app on your Windows PC. Switch to the “Remote Access” section from the left menu pane. 

You will now see your paired device listed on the screen. Select the “View/edit” option.
