Solution 4: Troubleshoot Network Using Command Prompt
You can also try to troubleshoot the Network problem via Command Prompt. To do so follow the steps ahead.
- Type CMD in the Cortana search bar.
- Now, right-click on command prompt option and tap on Run as Admin.
- In Command Prompt window you can try the below mentioned commands to resolve the network problem.
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- ipconfig /flushdns
- ipconfig /registerdns
- Exit

Solution 5: Disable Automatic Proxy Setup
If above-mentioned solutions don’t work for you then you should try to disable automatic proxy settings.
- To do so click on the Start button located near the Cortana search bar.
- Now, tap on Settings (Gear Icon).
- Next, tap on Network & Internet.
- Here, scroll down on the screen and tap on Proxy placed at the left side corner. Now, on the right side of the toggle of the Automatically detect settings.
- Also, disable the Proxy server.
Solution 6: Disable Settings of Internet Protocol(IPv6)

- To do so click on the Start button located near the Cortana search bar.
- Now, tap on Settings (Gear Icon).
- Next, tap on Network & Internet.
- Now, scroll down and tap on Network and Sharing Center.
- Here, tap on your current network.
- A new window will open, tap on Properties.
- Here, remove the mark from the checkbox option for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and tap on OK.
- Reboot your system to apply the changes.
Solution 7: Uninstall/Reinstall Network Drivers
Sometime problem can occur due to corruption of the network drivers. And due to this your Internet doesn’t work properly and you get the ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED error. So, you need to reinstall the latest version of the drivers.
- To do so type device manager in the Cortana search bar and press Enter key.
- Now tap on Network Adapters.
- Extend the contents of Network Adapters and search on the internet network driver.
- Right-click on the driver, and click on Uninstall option.
- Later reboot your system and re-install the latest version of the driver again and check for the error again.
