HBO offers 500 Hours of Free Content Due to Coronavirus

Not everything sucks right now. Looking at what is going on in the world, entertainment companies are offering free content, membership, online programs, etc. Making a note of this, HBO is also offering free content to people. But when will this start and what all shows will you get to watch? To get an answer we did some digging and here the answers. 

When will I get to watch free movies, series?

Starting from Friday, April 3rd as a part of #StayHomeBoxOffice HBO will be offering free content. This time limited offer will be available on HBO Now and HBO Go apps. 

What will I get?

The premium cable service HBO said that the free programming will constitute nearly 500 hours of movies and TV shows. But for how long will this be provided is not yet made clear by the company. 

Alongside there is a downside the free content is available exclusively to the US people. To get around that you can try different ways. With that said, now you cannot say you had no idea. 

Is there some hidden agenda?

Rumors say that since WarnerMedia is expected to release HBO Max – another upcoming streaming service in May. This free deal will give them an extra edge and the non-subscribers will want to sign up for HBO Max.  

Show you will be able to watch?

To name a few you will get “The Sopranos,” “Ballers,” “Succession,” “Veep,” “Silicon Valley” “The Wire,” “Six Feet Under,” “Barry,” and “True Blood.”

Now that HBO is offering all these shows for free you cannot pull out the I’ve only got Netflix card when someone asks have you watched The Wire or Sopranos. Now you’ve got all this for free and there is no excuse left to not watch such amazing shows.
