4th June 2018, mark the date on your calendars folks—the big day is about to come! Yes, that’s right WWDC 2018 is just a few days away and we can’t keep calm. A lot of rumors and speculations have been spreading around the world about all the major announcements that will be rolling out on WWDC event at San Jose, California.

iOS 12? The all new Apple Watch? New Macbook? iPhone SE 2? There’s a lot we can expect as this is just a glimpse of WWDC 2018 key announcements!

So, whether you’re attending the Apple’s traditional tech event or not, here’s all you can expect from latest news to major announcements to how you can see the event online and much more.

iOS 12

The only sure thing about WWDC 2018 that we all know about is iOS 12. A lot of rumors have  surfaced and it is quite sure that the launch of iOS 12 along with its key features will be announced at the event. It is been said that iOS 12 will offer more stability to users and an enriching smooth experience. iOS 12 will also add some new features that will allow you to unlock cars, work place, home, or hotel doors if you own an NFC enabled device. In addition to this, it has been speculated that parental control features will get more enhanced and secure on iOS 12.



Another important highlight which is expected out of WWDC 2018 is the debut of the all new MacBook PRO. These sleek devices are available in two different base models, one is the 13 inch and other is 15 inch model. MacBook PRO is expected to be perform better and will have an improved battery life as compared to other products in the same line.



Well, rumors are a bit scarce around Watch OS 5 announcement. But still it is being speculated that Watch OS will offer improved functionalities with new face recognition features, some additional watch faces and more. In addition to this, some new health tracking features will also be enabled on Watch OS 5. Let’s hope for the best!


A few weeks ago, TV OS 11.4 was introduced which includes the support for AirPlay 2. So, as of now we’re not sure whether TV OS 12 will be announced at WWDC 2018 or not but still at least we expect some kind of news surrounding TV OS 12 whether it’s big or small.

iPhone SE 2


We all remember iPhone SE, right? It was basically a lower priced iPhone variant with advanced specifications, and a less expensive iPhone option. Rumors claim that iPhone SE 2 will look more like iPhone X with a glass back offering wireless charging. Some other rumors state that iPhone SE 2 will look like iPhone 5 but just a bit bigger in size with features enabled of iPhone X. Guess, we have to wait till 4th June 2018 to see what Apple has got for us in the store.

HomePod was announced at the last year’s WWDC event was introduced with a heavy price tag of 350$. So, now it has been anticipated that Apple will launch a lesser priced HomePod model at WWDC 2018 which is almost half priced (200 $) than the original model offering same set of functionalities. This would surely boost the sales of HomePod but the chances of this happening are fairly slim.

You can tune into live streaming of WWDC event either via Apple’s official website or by downloading the WWDC mobile app on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. The event will be broadcasted on 4th of June around 10 AM (PST).
