PUBG Now Available on Google Stadia

Coronavirus is reshaping everything from the way we communicate, to the way we work, study, and everything else is changing. Nowadays going outside means, getting sick, it makes everyone anxious. The streets are quiet, no one is moving out & no one knows what will happen next. At this time, we need something to keep our minds occupied and away from thinking about what’s happening. This means you have all the time in the world to get into video games, online streaming, etc.

Keeping this in mind companies are releasing new gaming apps, for instance, Facebook’s gaming app, Doodle games, etc.

In addition to this, Google in its first Stadia Connect event unveiled and released several new games. For PUBG lovers Google brings PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Co-op game Get Packed to Stadia at $19.99 and promises to launch several ES games later this year.

Is PUBG Free for all on Stadia Users?

No, PUBG is only free for Pro members for the next two months and it includes the new Cold Front season pass. To play PUBG as a free member you will need to purchase the game. The price for the base game is $29.99 and if you want it bundled with a season pass you will need to pay $39.99.

What makes PUBG so special?

Certainly, PUBG’s fame and popularity is one reason and its compatibility with Click to Play is another. This makes PUBG the first Stadia game that will bypass the home screen and will launch immediately. PUBG will also support cross-play, meaning gamers will be able to play against friends on console.

This means cloud games will be accessible to gamers in just a click of a URL. Existing Pro users will immediately see the game’s start screen, while those who do not have an account will be asked to create one.

Will Google Stadia only give PUBG?

Along with PUBGs launch, Google is associating with EA games to launch the following games on Stadia later this year:

  • Star War Jedi: Fallen Order
  • FIFA
  • Madden NFL

Further, Crayta – a collaborative game sharing and creating platform will also be exclusively launched on Stadia this summer and will be free for Stadia Pro users. Using it, players with varying skill sets will be able to build a multiplayer game with Crayta.

When will we get these games?

Yet, there’s no official announcement made about the dates however according to Google, Madden, and FIFA will be available by winter and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will arrive in fall.

Will there be any other games for Stadia?

Besides, PUBG, EA games, Co-op game Get Packed Stadia users will get SteamWorld Heist, Zombie Army 4: Dead War, Rock of Ages 3, Ocotpath Traveler, etc. Some of these games will be launched by the end of April and the first week of May.
