Make Way for Apple Watch 3: Expected launch in September

According to several rumors, Apple is all set to launch Apple Watch 3 in coming September. The tech giant launched their first wearable smartwatch in 2015. Since then, they have been committed to introducing better and more practical features such as micro-LED technology for display and powerful processors.

This year, Apple certainly have bigger plans with the launch of their next-gen brand of smartwatches. Apple Watch is the talk of the town due to its exciting new features and hopefully better battery backup. The speculations of its features have been all over the place, but Apple has stayed muffled about the same. We are expecting the launch in second half of this year as Apple follows the annual cycle.

As Apple watch is a primary accessory for iPhones, Apple Inc. might bundle it with the much-awaited launch of iPhone 8, just like it did with iPhone 7.

A report in Taiwan’s DigiTimes claims that Apple is moving away from a touch-on-lens display to a glass-film touch system. However, this would not make a difference for us per se.

Apple has not changed the basic design of the watches since the launch of the first watch, however, some hardware changes could be expected for the advancement of the technology this year. The processor of the upcoming wearable would be better than the predecessor as claimed.

Apple has applied for copyrights for a number of features to be added on to the new wearable such as a heart rate identification system, modular bands, haptic feedback band, and a band with a built-in charger and some more pending for FDA approval.

If we talk according to the pending patents and rumors, Apple Watch 3 might be available in different range, models, straps, and colors.

According to the rumors, Apple Watch 3 will also have a built-in camera to take selfies and make facetime calls. There are also speculations of the watch having LTE connectivity.

However, there has been no leak of information from the supply chain.

Quanta was the sole manufacturer of the Apple Watch so far, but according to the latest update, from now on, it is going to share the burden with its adversary Compal Electronics, which will be helping the tech giant in production and distribution.
