4. Select Change what Cortana knows about me in the cloud.
- Now under “See my information,” click Get my info option.
- Go to your email account inbox.
- Now check email which has the subject, “Request submitted, data ready.”
- Tap on download it here, hyperlink.
- You might need to enter your Microsoft account details.
- Click Yes button to let “CortanaExport” to backup data. Now click on Save as button.
11. Choose the folder location wherein you want to save ZIP file with your entire data, and then click Save.
You will get a zip file containing all the information Microsoft has collected to help Cortana serve you better. Now open ZIP folder and you will get all the information such as calendars, lists, reminders, and notes accumulated by Microsoft.
It is very useful to get a copy of your data collected for Cortana. It is not easier to understand the data and Microsoft doesn’t make it simple either. The text files include information structure in a JSON format.
