With the novel coronavirus spreading rapidly, the world seems to standstill. People are social distancing, self-isolating themselves just to stay safe. It looks as if it is the new norm and the new living standards. However, to boost people’s morale staying at home due to COVID-19 and to support, praise health care heroes the World Health Organization and Global Citizen have announced the “One World Together At Home.”
This concert will not only raise funds to support COVID-19 relief efforts but will also share stories of people struggling and helping patients.

When will the concert take place?
The virtual benefit concert will be conducted on April 18, 5 PM PT (8 PM ET). Popular artists like Chris Martin, Elton John, Priyanka Chopra, Stevie Wonder, Kacey Musgraves, Shah Rukh Khan, Billie Eilish, and others will be performing.
The purpose of this concert is to not raise funds and share stories of health care staff who are working day and night to treat the sufferers.
So far, Global Citizen has raised $35 million in support of the WHO’s response to COVID-19.
Who will be the host of the event?
The multi hour digital broadcast will stream on different platforms and it will be hosted by Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel.
How can we watch the event?
Since Apple has signed on to stream “Together At Home” concert. This means the event will be streamed via Apple Music/TV. In addition to this, it will be streamed by different broadcasters like:
ViacomCBS, iHeartMedia, NBC, etc in the United States
Bello Media platforms in Canada.
BBC One will run the program on Sunday, April 19th, MultiChoice Group, etc.
Tencent, LiveXLive, Amazon Prime Video, Alibaba, Yahoo, YouTube and other popular platforms.
Is there anyone else who is organizing such events?
As the world is struggling with this pandemic several musical institutions and artists to spread joy of music are taking the shows online. To help people listen to their favourite music of lesser known artists, live streaming sites like Stageit are already active.
